Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information PhotoOnSpot Autopilot (the website and app at photoonspot.com and api.photoonspot.com) collects, why, who helps us process it, how long we keep it and how you can delete it. Questions: contact@photoonspot.com.

What we collect

• Your account: your email address (if you sign in with email), your language and a random key stored in your browser that identifies your workspace. We do not use passwords.
• What you upload: the videos and photos for each shot, your brand (business name, text lines, color, logo) and, for Real Estate, the agent's name, license number and photo.
• What you write: your music and style preferences, change requests and enhancement notes.
• Payments: Stripe handles your card. We never see or store card numbers; we keep the payment status, amount and Stripe references.
• How you found us and activity: the invite link or QR card you used, referral credits, and a history of actions on each project (created, paid, changed, delivered).
• Contact forms: your name, email, phone and message, if you write to us from the website. The form opens your own email app with the message ready to send; nothing goes through a third-party form service.
• Technical data: IP address and request times, used to prevent abuse (for example, limits on sign-in codes), and error logs without the contents of your files.

We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. The app stores your workspace key, your current project and your language in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in.

How we use it

• To build, deliver and store your videos, and to let you edit, download and share them.
• To send you sign-in codes and emails about your videos and your plan (for example, "your video is ready", "your originals will be deleted soon" or "your yearly plan renews soon").
• To process payments, plans, refunds and referral credits.
• To keep the service secure and working. Our team may view your projects to give support, fix problems or check quality.

We do not sell your information. We do not use your videos, photos or brand in our own marketing unless you give us permission: each finished video has an optional checkbox, off by default, to let us show that video on our website and social media. You can turn it off at any time; we then stop using it in new content and remove it from our website and the profiles we control within 30 days. Deleting the project also turns it off. We record when you gave or removed permission.

Who helps us

We share only what each provider needs to do its part:

• Hostinger: hosts the website, the app's server and our email.
• Backblaze: stores your uploads, finished videos and our encrypted backups.
• Modal: receives your shots, music and brand files temporarily to assemble your video.
• Anthropic: our AI director receives your photos, still frames from your videos, the text you add to the video, and your music and change requests, to plan the edit.
• Higgsfield: if you ask for AI enhancement, receives the photo or a still frame of each chosen shot (uploaded to Higgsfield's storage) and a short motion description, to create camera motion.
• Stability AI: if original music is created for your video, receives a text description of the music (never your files).
• Stripe: payments and subscriptions.
• Google Fonts: serves the typeface, which shares your IP address with Google.

These providers may process information in the United States and other countries. We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights and users.

How long we keep it

• Original uploads (your shots, AI-enhanced shots, music files and versions that were never delivered): deleted starting 90 days after you create the project (later while a video is being built, and never sooner than 7 days after we email you, if you signed in with email). Your finished video stays in "My videos"; if the video was never finished, nothing stays. Files you reused in another video are kept until that video's originals are deleted.
• Projects you delete: recoverable in "Recently deleted" for 30 days; then their files are deleted and only a minimal record (dates and payments) is kept.
• Finished videos and your account: kept while your account is active, until you delete them or ask us to.
• Backups: an encrypted backup (key kept offline) is kept up to 91 days, and a daily copy of our project list is kept in private storage for 7 days. Deleted data leaves the backups when they expire.
• Payment records: kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. The record of your consent to a plan's automatic renewal (date, plan, price and the text you accepted) is kept for at least 3 years, also after you delete your account.

Your choices and rights

• Download your videos at any time, and your originals until they are deleted.
• Delete a project from the app, or delete your account and everything in it with "Delete my account" in "My videos". Your files and brand are deleted right away and your plan is canceled; we keep only payment records (Stripe keeps its own records of your payments), and the rest leaves our backups when they expire. Shared beta accounts (invitation code) are deleted on request. You can also ask us by writing to contact@photoonspot.com from your account's email.
• Ask us for a copy of your information or to correct it.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (for example, under California or EU law). Write to us and we will respond within 30 days.

Security

Files and backups are stored in private storage and shown through links that expire (anyone with a link can open it until it expires). Our long-term backups are encrypted with a key kept offline. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by law.

Children

PhotoOnSpot is a service for businesses and adults. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app or by email.
